Sanya Badr

My name is Sanya Badr.  I have been married for the last fifteen years and have two sons.  We have been living in Naperville since 2002, having moved from London, England.

I graduated Bsc(Hons) Accounting, Finance and Economics from Oxford, England and went on to pursue my career as an auditor.  All that changed when I became a mother.  Raising my sons, I realized that quality early child care is instrumental in shaping the future of the little ones.  Since then, I changed my focus and career.  I trained to become a music and movement teacher for children, birth through five years and provided my services to the Naperville, Woodridge and Clarendon Hills Park Districts.  I have also worked at the Board of Education in Shaker Heights, Ohio and have provided private child care service.

I went back to school to complete Early Childhood Enrichment classes and acquired my Childhood Development Associate (CDA), to become a qualified teacher.  Since the qualification, I have worked at a local Naperville preschool and since last year have been working at Just for Kids as a pre-K teacher.  I have had a terrific year teaching pre-K and look forward to another exciting school year!
